In the Spotlight: Sappington Farmer's Market Posted: 12:42 PM
Monday February 11, 2008
Located at 8400 Watson Road, you will be delighted with the selections found inside of Sappington Farmer's Market.

The market boasts a huge selection of naturally gluten-free groceries that are primarily grown locally. Natural and organic groceries throughout the store include produce, a wide array of cheeses, grass fed and hormone free beef, chicken and pork and Missouri's Heartland Creamery milk in glass bottles.

The entire line of Bob's Red Mill gluten-free flours have been incorporated near the produce aisles.

There will soon be toxic free cleaning supplies and beauty products.

The Missouri Farmers Union will soon be the new owners of Sappington Farmers Market. Tessa Greenspan, current owner and CEO will continue to be involved with the store as a partner and will take on more marketing duties.

The addition of the Missouri Farmers Union will allow a storefront for local farmers and will provide incentive and a prototype for other businesses to follow suit.
