Monical's Pizza, with 62 restaurants in 3 states, announced in May, 2009, that they would introduce a 10.5 inch, thin crust, gluten free pizza. This may not be available yet at all locations. Check the website: www.monicalspizza.com and call any specific location for details. Several members have enjoyed the pizza and report a good taste. Some suggest asking to leave the pizza uncut, then cut yourself at the table or at home to avoid cross contamination.

The new Schnucks at 12332 Mahchester Rd, Des Peres MO will be having a series of Gluten Free cooking classes with Chef Jen Cafferty, founder of the Gluten Free Cooking Expo. The December class featured gluten free baking - sugar cookies, mint brownies, and gingerbread cheesecake. The new Schnucks also has a nice variety of gluten free products on the shelf.
